The Friends of the Scotch Plains Public Library are thrilled to close the book on another Big Book Sale — and what a sale it was. From the moment the doors opened, book lovers turned out in force, filling their bags and their shelves with titles donated by the generous people of Scotch Plains. By the time the final day wrapped up, the shelves were nearly bare — a sure sign that this community knows a great deal when it sees one.
A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who came out to browse, buy, and bring some new stories home. And an equally big thank-you to the donors whose book contributions made it all possible — this sale only works because neighbors give, and Scotch Plains gave beautifully. The proceeds from this event go directly to the Scotch Plains Public Library, supporting the programs, resources, and community spaces that make it such a vital part of our town.
